With the Garden Visiting Season, an English tradition going back to Jane Austen’s days, why not join in the fun and enjoy a peek behind the walls of some special local gardens open in aid of National Gardens Scheme charities.
Celebrating its 90th birthday this year, the NGS initiated District Nursing, and now supports caring charities donating £2.7million in 2016. Among main benefactors are Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Hospice UK, Parkinson’s UK and QNI .
