The health benefits of singing have been proven time and again, so if you’re looking for a new way to keep fit, why not give Popchoir a try? Heart health, improved respiratory function, lower blood pressure, and elevated mood are all known benefits, and if you factor in learning some simple moves, it’s a complete package for improved well-being!

Now in its 7th year, Popchoir is known for its unique and beautiful arrangements as well as the fun and energy exuding from its purple-clad members! “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done” is one of the most common statements we hear” says Director Helen Hampton, “and we know that for some people it’s completely life-changing.”

Joining Popchoir is easy: there are no auditions and you don’t need to read music. Just go along, try it out and chances are you’ll be hooked. The Muswell Hill choir meets on Wednesdays at the British Legion, and now, for those who find evenings tricky, there’s a new morning choir too. Popchoir is a wonderful place for meeting new friends, de-stressing and generally spending 11/2 hours singing, laughing and having a really good time. And with opportunities to perform both locally and at larger events such as the Ideal Home Show, it’s no wonder Popchoir members go home smiling!
