SMP Present ‘Monty Python’s Spamalot’ at the Millfield Theatre

SMP

After the success of their recent shows, The Pirates of Penzance and Urinetown, SMP return to the Millfield Theatre with Monty Python’s Spamalot.

Lovingly ripped off from the hugely successful 1975 film, ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, Spamalot follows King Arthur, his squire Patsy and the Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their epic search for the Holy Grail. Featuring killer rabbits, flatulent Frenchmen and the knights who say… Ni!, this musical will have you looking on the bright side of life!

Funnier than the Black Death and winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best New Musical, Spamalot was written by Monty Python legend Eric Idle and has a music score featuring ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’.

The show is directed by Paula Bland, musically directed by Stuart Piddington-Wall and choreographed by Fay Kemal.

Director Paula Bland said:

It’s a joy bringing a British comedy classic to the stage and the addition of the songs and our fantastic choreography makes this a show that appeals to not just Monty Python fans but to anyone and everyone.”

Musical Director Stuart Piddington-Wall said:

The show features a wide range of different musical styles from traditional Broadway to gospel which makes it a really fun show to work on. The cast sound fantastic and we’re ready to wow the audiences!

The show runs at The Millfied Theatre, Silver St, Edmonton, London N18 1PJ from Thurs 13th to Sat 16th June 2018 at 7.45 p.m. with a matinee on Sat 16th at 2.30 p.m.

Tickets are priced £15 Full/£13 Concessions and available by calling 0208 807 6680 to book. Online booking and payment is available via The Millfield website www.millfieldtheatre.co.uk
