The TOY Project is an Islington based charity that recycles your unwanted new and used toys and gives them to children that need them.
We distribute these toys to children here in the UK and to children in India, Africa and the Caribbean.
We work very closely with our local hospital, The Whittington, where we supply toys for the children’s ward and to out-patient departments and waiting rooms.
We also provide face painters, story tellers and are currently fundraising to fund the mural painting of the children’s theatre to make operations and anaesthetics less traumatic.
We provide the children’s ward with art and craft sets that the children can make and enjoy during their stay in hospital.
If your child has received an unwanted and unopened ‘making’ craft, science or art set please think about donating them to us for the children at The Whittington.
We are based at 81 Junction Road, Archway, N19 5QU and your donations can be delivered or sent so that we can take them to the play team at the hospital.
If you would like to make a financial donation to support our work in customising the anaesthetic room please donate here:
