This is a total abomination. How much does it cost, and how long does it take to turn what was once a lively area with flower beds where the school kids would sit at lunch time, into a vast barren space? It’s still littered with temporary fencing, and now it’s being dug up again! How about calling it ‘The Wasteland’.

      Hi Linda
The council and developers are in the process of adding “street” furniture and another tree. I can’t comment on the temporary fencing but would suggest that whilst the end shop is still being developed there is a need to have it there.
Midsummer Muswell will introduce the area as a community space and Haringey Council have said that they would like to see regular markets and other events being held there. I hope you will come along to the inaugural event and perhaps see it in a different light?
