Counselling by Mary McIlroy
Hello, my name is Mary McIlroy and I am a registered counselling psychotherapist with an MBACP from the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
My goal is to help relieve the anxiety, panic, depression and/or interpersonal conflicts that interfere with the realisation of your hopes, dreams and aspirations. This goal is attainable when we work together as a problem solving team.
Other issues include working with those struggling with decision making, increasing self confidence and overcoming destructive life patterns.
As your therapist, I can be your partner in facing problems that seem too difficult to
manage alone. Together, we can begin working towards a future of meaningful
relationships and rich experiences unfettered by the past. Through therapy you can begin to establish a sense of control over the course of your life, even in the face of the most daunting circumstances.
I work with a range of emotional problems and welcome the opportunity to help you break through the barriers holding you back from the changes you seek in life.
Below are testimonials from clients had suffered depression who have described the result of counselling sessions with me:
“I had 12 sessions with Mary and she helped me a great deal. I found her very intuitive, calm, kind and patient. I definitely benefited hugely from my weekly hour with her and she enabled me to really move forward”
“I found the counselling I received help me immensely. It provided me with an outlet for my emotions and it soon became an event that I looked forward too. It enabled me to look at problems with a clearer head and I truly believe it has been most beneficial too my recovery”
