‘Somewhere Safe to Stay’

Cranwood, the former care home on the corner of Woodside Avenue and Muswell Hill Road, is to be used as a night shelter under the ‘Somewhere Safe to Stay’ programme. Haringey Council have approved this use for just less than a year. The long term plan for the site is still for it to be developed as housing.

MHFGA is your local residents’ association (since 1948!) We produce six bi-monthly Newsletters per year, which are distributed to over 770 members. Membership for households is just £10 per year and gives you the chance to attend our special events, such as our recent guided tour of Lauderdale House. Each summer we hold the popular ‘Odd One Out’ competition, and our Christmas Charity Tombola has raised almost £800 for local causes. To join MHFGA and be kept up to date on local issues and our planned activities, visit www.mhfga.org/membership or email our Membership Secretary on [email protected]
