Legendary fringe showcase Sketch Club is returning to London’s Downstairs at the Kings Head in 2013 – this time in association with comedy giant The Gilded Balloon

The popular monthly gig will host six heats for “Best New Sketch Act 2013”, and the winners will be invited to compete in a grand final at the Gilded Balloon during the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2013. First prize will be a three week run on the Edinburgh Fringe.

The host of Sketch Club 2013 will be the very lovely Doug Faulkner (from Doug’s Sketchy Collective at the Albany and BBC’s Snog, Marry, Avoid).
