When the Pied Piper plays his flute the rats run, the greedy mayor rubs his hands and the children dance. Norwich Puppet Theatre’s humorous and irresistible one person show combines a skilful mix of puppetry, foot-tapping live music and storytelling and entrance young and old.

22-23 Nov: Dim Sum Nights 7PM
Fresh, bite sized pieces of theatre by talented British East Asian writers will be served up complete with delicious Dim Sum and tea. From an unlikely friendship made over a wedding banquet feast to a family dinner party consumed with love, guilt and hunger, from a troubled man entering a quiet restaurant to young boy meets young girl, the wide range on this Dim Sum Nights menu provides something to suit every taste.

Raga Jyoti – The Indian Classical Music Ensemble of England
An evening of newly composed Indian classical, contemporary and divine music compositions. Digital projection combines with traditional music to create a truly spiritual experience.
2 Dec: The Night Before Christmas 12.00PM, 3.00PM, 4.30PM
On the night before Christmas Emily stares out of the window, hugs her teddy and waits excitedly for the morning, while in the corner a little mouse called Eddie can’t understand why only humans are allowed to celebrate and get presents.
So he sets off in search of Father Christmas to find out for himself. Along the way he dodges the family cat, gets directions from a cowardly toy soldier and is given some unexpected advice from the magical fairy on top of the tree.
Will Eddie get an answer? Will Emily get her wish? And what is that funny-shaped present sitting under the tree? Find out in this magical show packed with festive fun, songs, and plenty of joining in.

3 Dec 2012 – 13 Jan 2013: Creative Routes
An exhibition of art by local primary school children explores the theme of ‘Storytelling through Time’. The children have been working with professional artists Alinah Azadeh, Miraim Baez, Geraint Edwards, Sobia Khan and Mark Long.
5 Dec: Indian Takeaway with Hardeep Singh Kohli 7.30PM
Celebrity Masterchef finalist Hardeep Singh Kohli is on a mission to find the best Indian takeaway in the UK. For his third national tour show Hardeep will order a takeaway live on stage for delivery to the theatre, having selected one from audience suggestions submitted via www.hardeeplive.com
Hardeep will then race against time to cook his own sumptuous feast before the takeaway arrives. Along the way, he’ll be sharing recipe tips, anecdotes and wonderful stories of his shared Scottish and Indian heritage. The show culminates with some lucky audience members coming on stage to sample both meals. Make sure you book early for a good seat to be first in the queue!

He’s back for Christmas!
Everyone’s favourite monster is back on stage in a smash hit musical adaptation of the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Follow the quick-thinking Mouse into the deep, dark wood in this magical and musical show. Discover what happens when he comes face to face with wheeler-dealer Fox, an eccentric old Owl and a maraca-shaking Snake, and, of course the very creature he imagined… The Gruffalo!
Songs, fun and laughs for children aged 3+ and their grown-ups.
The performance at 3pm on Sat 22 Dec will be BSL interpreted.
