How did you get into music?
D: The same way as everyone else, which is my parents playing David Bowie to me all the time as a kid
O: My Dad ran a music shop for 25 years so I suppose it kind of runs in the family
R: When my Dad brought home a guitar.
N: Dad playing loads of different types of music to me as a kid
Who do you follow religiously on Twitter?
O: Danny Dyer
R: What’s a “Twitter”?
What have you been reading lately?
D: An amazing book called ‘Stoner’ by John Williams. Also Taylor Swift’s twitter feed
O: On The Road by Jack Kerouac
R: I don’t know how to read
N: fight club by chuck palahniuk
Who is the most influential person in your life?
D: Tom Hanks
O: My Dad, cliché I know
R: The amazing woman who works on the platform at Finsbury Park at evening rush hour who tells people what’s what
N: My dad. Without him I wouldn’t have gotten into music
Which song do you wish you had written?
D: ‘Love On Top’ by Beyonce for the sheer audacity of including that many key changes in one song.
O: ‘Lover You Should Have Come Over’ by Jeff Buckley but that is one in a long, long list.
R: ‘To here knows when’ by My Bloody Valentine
N: ‘Weird Fishes/Arpeggi’ by Radiohead
Does God exist?
D: No, but it’s cool if you think he or she does
O: Nope but super cool if you think otherwise
R: I don’t believe so
N: No. It would be cool if something was out there though
We’re at the bar. What are you drinking?
D: Gin and Tonic over and over again forever
Who would you dread getting stuck in a lift with?
D: Johnny Depp because I have a weird theory that he smells bad
R: I can’t beat Solange as an answer, other than with a blue whale
What did you want to be when you grew up?
O: Musician or a Policeman
R: It varied every day. Still does
N: An Astronaut
What song will you have played at your funeral?
D: ‘This Must Be The Place’ by Talking Heads, which is the greatest song of all time
O: ‘Little Wing’ by Jimi Hendrix, but only the live at The Royal Albert Hall version
R: ‘Song of Gabriel’ by Philippe Vachey
N: ‘Wake Up’ by Arcade Fire
What gigs, songs or albums are you promoting at the moment?
Our debut EP, ‘Oceans and Mountains’ is coming out very soon and we are playing the Crouch End Festival on Sunday 8th June
