Q&A with We Ghosts

We Ghosts

What are you listening to right now?

I go through theses phases and at the moment I’m listening a lot to Talking Heads and The Clash and some old Ska and Reggae. John listens to Django, and Charlie Christian along with Nick Drake.

How did you get into music?

We’ve never considered getting into anything else, music has always been the thing for us, always been a full-time musician, always will be.

Who do you follow religiously on Twitter?

No one.

What have you been reading lately?

Really got in to the novels of David Mitchell, the latest one was Bone Clocks.

Who is the most influential person in your life?

There are two of us in the band and we’ve influenced each other a great amount. I think some musicians wear their influences too much on their sleeves, so to speak.

Which song do you wish you had written?

Go Straight To Hell Boy, by The Clash.

We’re at the bar. What are you drinking?

Port and Brandy (good for the voice, or so they say 😉

Who would you dread getting stuck in a lift with?

George Osbourne, I couldn’t be held responsible for what might happen (and not in the good way)

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I will never grow up!

If you could change on thing about London, what would it be?

Better quality of air, no child poverty please.

What gigs, songs or albums are you promoting at the moment?

We’re on the road constantly promoting our latest album “Decade” Check our website for gig listings.
